新潟県出身。在オーストラリア、ニュージーランド在住歴 53年。

1980 年　Cubic Film設立。
ニュージーランド、オーストラリア、南太洋地区にて観光業や映像制作に従事。

1999 年　有料衛星放送局World TV Limited設立。
中国・韓国・日本（NHK総合24時間専属チャンネルでの放送は世界初）
合計12チャンネル24時間放送を開始、衛生放送局は2022年3月にて閉局。
現在は地上波Freeviewチャンネル28、ならびにAMとFMラジオ局は継続。

2004年　 Sakura Television Network Limited設立。
映像制作、日本民放各局からの両国での番組制作、映画製作などに従事。

2014年　 NHK World放送開始、第二チャンネルSakuraでは24時間のすべてを英語化されたインバウンドPR映像、
日本産食材PR映像、地方自治体インバウンドPR映像、外務省、農水省、観光庁等の映像にて構成し、
両国民に対し日本への旅前情報提供に専念すると共に両国間の相互理解促進に努めています。

Director : Masa Sekikawa

Born in Niigata Japan, moved to Australia and New Zealand 53 years ago.

In 1980, founded Cubic Film, worked for film and video production and tourism related business throughout Australia and New Zealand as well as South Pacific Islands.

In 1999, founded World TV Limited which broadcasted pay-per-view Chinese, Korean and Japanese multi-TV channels throughout New Zealand. Ceased operation March 2022, now continue to service terrestrial broadcasting channels Freeview 28, and AM and FM radio stations.

In 2004, founded Sakura Television Network Limited. Co-produced many TV programs and movies for Japan as well as organized community events.

In 2014, started to broadcast NHK World live 24/7, now broadcasting 2 channels of Japanese contents. NHK World and Channel Sakura together with YouTube affiliated two TV channels.

Channel Sakura aims to attract inbound tourists from Australia and New Zealand by offering 24/7 streaming TV services showcasing various aspects of Japanese tourism, food, culture, music, crafts, and shopping. Provided by Japanese local governments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MAFF, JNTO, tour companies, amusement parks, and more, our content is tailored to engage and entertain viewers.

Sakura TV's streaming service is accessible across Australia and New Zealand, offering free, family-friendly content around the clock. We are dedicated to promoting tourism in Japan and fostering mutual understanding between both countries.
